Biographical history
Mrs. Delores Swaile lived at Strathnaver for many years, where she was a teacher. In 1975 she moved to Dunrovin Lodge in Quesnel, where she resided until her death in 1992. She was born in North Dakota, U.S.A.
Custodial history
The records were in the possession of Mrs. Swaile until her death. They then were in the possession of Mrs. Swaile's friend, Ruth Scouller, who inadvertently passed them on to a City of Quesnel employee, Pat, for a garage sale. Pat sent them over to the archives.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of an account book, a record book, letters, magazine clippings and other ephemera.
