Biographical history
William Thomas (Bill) Ewing came to the Cariboo region of B.C. from Ontario in 1891 and settled three miles northwest of Quesnel. Ewing ran a butcher shop and later, for a short period, the Quesnel Hotel. He and his wife, Charlotte, were active in community affairs.
