        History

        Nitinat, a railway logging camp at the head of the lake began in 1926 and had several owners. From 1946 BC Forest Products owned it. In 1955 a road was built to the area, 1957 the railway was closed and the last logs were dumped. When the club was formed and when it ceased is unknown.
