The Quesnel View Women's Institute was formed on March 11, 1951 at the home of Mrs. Clara Bennett and was named The West Fraser Womens Institute at that time. However; the name was changed sometime before their next meeting. The minutes of April 25, 1951 refer to the Women's Institute as Quesnel View. The Narcosli Women's Institute was formed on July 22, 1964 at the home of Mrs. M. Smith, with 8 ladies joining.

Fonds consists of the business records of the Quesnel View and Narcosli Womens Institutes from 1951 to 1995 and 1966 to 1970 respectively. Includes 5 scrapbooks with news clippings and photographs, 18 minute books, 1 membership book and 3 cash books of the Quesnel View W.I. and 1 minute book and 1 cash book of the Narcosli W.I.
