        History

        St. Augustine's School (Vancouver), located in St. Augustine's Parish, opened in 1911, as a parochial school under the direction of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Sisters originally commuted from St. Ann's Academy downtown. The first residence for the Sisters who taught at St. Augustine's was opened in 1912.. The Sisters withdrew from St. Augustine's School in 1969. The St. Augustine's School Association was founded in 1920.
