Biographical history
St. Augustine's School (Vancouver), located in St. Augustine's Parish, opened in 1911, as a parochial school under the direction of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Sisters originally commuted from St. Ann's Academy downtown. The first residence for the Sisters who taught at St. Augustine's was opened in 1912.. The Sisters withdrew from St. Augustine's School in 1969. The St. Augustine's School Association was founded in 1920.

The fonds consists of house chronicles, local council minutes and visitations, and local accounts; correspondence; guest book; subject and reference files; name and address register; some biographical material; and historical monograph. Fonds includes minutes of the school's Parent-Teacher Association, and of the Guardian Angel Sodality.
