Biographical history
West Delta was proclaimed a Scouting District in Victoria on June 30, 1958, which included scouting groups in Ladner, Tsawwassen and Boundary Bay. Scouting had existed in Delta as early as 1912. Scouting is an international movement whose goal is to develop good character and good citizenship among boys.

Scope and content
Consists of two albums of newsclippings about boy scout activities in Delta. The first album spans from 1985 to 1987, covering Ladner and Tsawwassen troups and including a program from a Chief Scout Award Recognition Ceremony. The second album spans from 1988 to 1990, covering mostly cub scout and some girl guide events.
