Includes Betty's story of teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in 1928 in Fort Fraser, a story of Lillian Alling's walk from New York to Dawson in a bid to reach Russia, a history of the Young Ranger Bands, a description of Betty's trip with family from England to Oyama in 1914, a description of two camping holidays in 1944 in Mara and Mabel Lake, a description of a trip down the Shuswap River in a row boat in 1919, and a description of the natural geography of the North Okanagan. It includes a few notes and several lengthy letters to her parents describing in detail experiences during a cruise on the 'Aurania' from Montreal to the Caribbean and around South America to San Francisco and Vancouver in 1940. Fonds also includes certificates from Enderby High School and Provincial Normal School (1922, 1925), a list of settlers' effects (1947) and an autograph album with original drawing and paintings and notes from friends in 1925-1931.

(1925), correspondence with suppliers, price lists, a mailing list, a ledger for income and expenses (1928-1932), a list of guns sold (1924-1961), counter sales receipts, a booklet on fretwork, and a price marking system.
McMahon HardwareFonds consists of one typed manuscript written in 1940 by James McMahon. He describes his early years in Ontario, his life on the 200 acre family bush farm in Hinchersbrook, Ontario, the homestead his family built north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, his work in a tie camp for the C.P.R., his experiences during the Riel Rebellion, his work in logging camps near Revelstoke, his work as a blacksmith and garage dealer in Enderby, B.C., and his experiences trapping and prospecting in northern B.C. An addendum describes his trip to southwestern United States in 1939. The manuscript includes a great deal of detail and excellent stories about people and places.

It relates his memories of training and serving in World War I as a member of the 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles and the 8th Brigade Light Trench Mortar Battery in northern France and Belgium. Fonds also consists of 5 laser print copies of photographs of Patrick Mowat and the 30th B.C. Horse.
